DISHOOM - Indian Cuisine

I tried this new Bombay Café Dishoom in Shoreditch with some friends.
Decoration is fantastic, it was a vintage universe with also a point of modernity!

J'ai essayé le nouveau Bombay Café Dishoom à Shoreditch avec des amies.
La décoration est fantastique, c'était un univers vintage avec une pointe de modernité!
We ordered Murgh Malai, Chicken Ruby, Mahi Tikka, House black daal, steamed basmati rice and the 3 kind of naans: classic, garlic and cheese.
Favorite dishes for all of us was: Chicken Ruby and Murgh Malai.

Murgh Malai
Chicken thigh meat is steeped overnight in garlic, ginger, coriander stems and a little cream.
Still slightly pink when cooked
Chicken Ruby
A mellow curry in the South Indian style.
Mop it up very nicely with a Roomali Roti
Mahi Tikka
In Bombay, Mahi can be any fish, but this is sustainable cod in a subtle yoghurty marinade
House Black Daal
A dishoom signature dish - dark, rich, deeply flavoured.
It is simmered over hours for extra harmony
Naans : classic, cheese and garlic
Kulfi on stick
Satin-smooth, sweet real mango
